Five villages of Manjakote declared red zone | KNO

Rajouri, Mar 28 (KNO): After three positive cases were reported from the area, the authorities have declared five villages of Manjakote Tehsil as ‘red zone’ while dozens of other villages as ‘buffer zone’. According to wire service—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the decision has been taken by administration after three persons from the area were tested positive for Coronavirus including a father-son duo. In the order issued by District Magistrate Rajouri, five villages including Sarula, Deri Dhara, Mangal Nar, Gambhir Mughlan and Kotli have been declared containment / red zones. Similarly, the villages surrounding the red zone areas have been categorized as buffer zone. "There shall be no inward or outward movement of any person from these villages and people shall stay at their homes." the order reads. It further mentioned that "There shall be complete lockdown in the Tehsil Manjakote." –(KNO)
